FAQ – Useful Information

Praise Christian Centre is an independent full gospel church. A family church whose goal is to bring people to Jesus and to guide them by biblical instruction into the purpose for which God has created them!

When and where does Praise Christian Centre meet?

We have one main Sunday morning service at 10am – 12:00 pm at the Clayton Crown Hotel, 145 -152 Cricklewood Broadway, London NW2 3ED.

 

Our Midweek Services follow a Bible Study format on Thursdays: 7.30pm (doors open at 7.00pm). Our Monthly Prayer Nights are held on the last Friday of each month: 8.00pm to 11.00pm. These sessions are held at Sidings Community Centre, 150 Brassey Road, Off Maygrove Road, London, NW6 2BA.

What should I expect during the worship experience?

Our Sunday morning services begin with live music followed by a practical down-to-earth teaching. We have one main Sunday morning service at 10am – 12:00 pm.

Are there any parking facilities at the church venue?

There is parking around the surrounding roads of Clayton Crown Hotel;  however, there are still some restrictions that apply on a Sunday. The Hotel also offers paid parking in there basement.

 

At Sidings Community Centre on-site parking is limited but there is some parking available within in a short walking distance on Maygrove and Fordwych Road. Please be considerate of residents’ parking, where restrictions apply.

What should I wear?

Dress is casual and varied at Praise Christian Centre, so come as you are to worship God. Some prefer dress suits and some prefer jeans, we prefer that you come as you are…

What do you provide for teens and young adults?

Praise Christian Centre has a thriving and dynamic youth ministry, Teens In Christ (TIC), that provides a spiritual haven for teens.

 

They meet every Sunday at 10am to have Praise and Worship with the main church followed by their own separate session to uncover the word with our passionate youth workers.

 

We Also have a group for 18-30 year olds called Route 1:8, the group is self-managed by leaders within the group that organise a range of monthly activities to bring their peers together. Check out the events schedule to find out what and when the next is

Do you have a creche for children?

We have a creche during our Sunday service for babies and toddlers aged 0 – 3 years.

What can my children expect from their service?

We have a vibrant and active ministry to children and welcome youngsters of all ages. Our vision for the Children’s Ministry is to train and develop children to take their place as heirs of Christ.

 

In addition to an exciting curriculum that emphasises biblical principles, we have activities and specially adapted sessions for all age groups.

 

Children’s ministry runs during both Sunday Services.

Will I be singled out as a visitor?

We welcome all visitors at the end of our services in a warm, friendly manner and do our best to ensure you feel included when worshipping with us.

Will I be compelled to give?

Free will offerings are received during our services to support the ongoing work of Praise Christian Centre. You are under no obligation to give but if you wish to participate, we welcome you to do so.

How do I get involved?

Anybody can attend and be part of our services.

 

However, if you wish to volunteer with PCC, you must attend for a minimum of 6 months and take our Partnership Class.
