Leadership

Pastor Kofi Banful – Senior Pastor

Kofi Banful is the Senior Pastor of Praise Christian Centre in North West London. He has a real gift for making the Bible come alive—teaching with clarity, insight, and a touch of humour that connects with people from all walks of life. His ministry is built on a verse close to his heart:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” — Hosea 4:6

Before founding Praise Christian Centre, Pastor Kofi served for several years as an Associate Pastor at a large charismatic church in London, where his teaching and preaching became widely recognised and loved.

He’s passionate about helping people know Jesus personally and grow strong in their faith. His vision stretches far beyond London, inspired by Acts 1:8, “to be witnesses of Christ to the ends of the earth.” Through Praise Christian Centre, he’s helped support mission projects in different nations, seeing countless lives and families transformed by the Gospel.
Outside of ministry, Kofi cherishes time spent with his wife, Jayne, their two daughters, Siobhan and Sinead, and their beloved grandchildren, who bring them endless joy.

Jayne Banful – Associate Pastor

Jayne Banful serves alongside her husband as Associate Pastor at Praise Christian Centre. She’s an anointed Bible teacher, professional counsellor, and life coach who has a special gift for bringing comfort and hope to those who are hurting.

Many describe her ministry as one “sent to heal the brokenhearted and speak a word in season to those who are weary.” Jayne often shares her own journey of how Jesus has healed and restored her, making her teaching both powerful and deeply relatable.

Her heart’s desire is to help people step into the fullness of the life Jesus has for them—a ministry that’s reaching nations and bringing hope and freedom to countless lives.

Jayne also has a big heart for young people and feels called to pass on biblical truth and leave a lasting, godly legacy.

She’s a devoted wife, mother, and now a joyful grandmother, loving every moment she spends with Kofi, their daughters, and their precious grandchildren at home in London.
